why backing up is bad…
I may as well just get this over and tell the truth.
Last week I backed over my bracelets.
People who know me will now, please, pick themselves up off the floor. It’s true. I wear a ton of silver. The more the better. Why wear one thing when you can wear fifteen? Check out my arms in my photos. And, no, I do not wear all that stuff to bed. It’s hell on the sheets.
So there I am at the Tampa airport. Exhausted. Really exhausted and hungry and did I say I was tired? And So I set my little bag down and three of us hussled into the car and when I backed up I heard a little clunk.
Wow! What was that? So like a dumbass I pulled forward to see if the tire was okay and ran over my bag again.
Oh!!! The sight of flat silver is horrifying! If I was not so damn tired I might have cried. So the bracelets are at Bob’s fix-up the mess place and I am forcing myself to take one of my own life lessons to heart.
Stop backing up. Move forward!
And it’s also a good thing to put all your bags in the car before you leave the airport.

Life is full of such symbolic lessons…if we are only wise enough to see them!

Just glad you or no one else was hurt–maybe you can have the jeweler make a new fangled design!

Oh Kris! Last weekend when we thought we’d finished loading the car Pat heard a big crunch and found out she’d backed up over her bicycle helmet. Squashed it flat!

Oh Honey…I feel your pain! I still love all of my bracelets. Remember the copper ones from Glacier Park?
